The European Journal of Gerontology (EJA) belongs to the group of premier European-based ageing research journals coming with an interdisciplinary ambition. Hence, it is an important publication channel for researchers who acknowledge the unique features of growing old in other countries than the United States. The journal is peer reviewed, and not only the peers, but also the editors are intensively involved in the quality of the review process.
